Business offices for the City of Paris will be closed this Friday, April 2, 2010, in observance of Good Friday. Residential sanitation routes will not run on Friday and will resume the regular route schedule on Monday, April 5. The City of Paris compost site, located at 705 Field Road, will be open on Saturday, April 3, 2010, regular scheduled hours 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Compost is free to city residents with proof of residency. Customers needing to pay a City utility bill can utilize the drop box at the Water Office drive through located at 120 East Kaufman Street. The Paris Public Library will also be closed April 2 but will reopen for its regular Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. schedule. EMS, fire, and police emergency services will operate as normal.
