Kid Safe Saturday, a popular annual event promoting child safety initiatives, returns May 4. Many local businesses and organizations will operate booths with information and activities for kids to enjoy.
Bounce houses and other activities will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, inside the Love Civic Center. Sponsored by Think Child Safety and the City of Paris Emergency Medical Services, the event provides safety education for parents and children.
"Most emergency calls to 911 involving kids can be prevented," Paris EMS Captain Chris Shoemate said. "Kid Safe Saturday is a fun way for law enforcement, EMS, fire and other community organizations to interact and share important safety information with kids and their parents."
Booth applications are available now at www.ParisTexas.gov/KSS for any organization that would like to exhibit at Kid Safe Saturday. The event is free to the public.
