The City Council encourages all citizens to consider becoming involved in city government by serving on a city board or committee. Appointments are made by City Council at their second meeting in June of each year.
Applicants must:
- Be residents of the City of Paris, Texas, unless the authorizing ordinance or law creating a board or commission specifically states otherwise
- Be willing to attend the regularly scheduled meetings of the board or commission
- Be a registered voter with the same residency address submitted on the application
