[ARCHIVED] 5th Citizens Police Academy Slated to Begin September 11

Class 2012-5 will begin Tuesday, September 11 at 6:00 PM at the Paris Police Station, 2910 Clarksville Street. Applications are being accepted now for the 10 week class. The class meets every Tuesday at 6:00 PM and is usually over by 9:00 PM for presentations on the inner workings of the police department. The instructors for the class are employees and officers of the department and cover a wide range of topics including; uniform patrol, traffic enforcement, collision reconstruction, penal code, criminal investigations, communications, 9-1-1 system and other topics. Students are scheduled for a ride-out with officers and a trip to the firing range.
