Friday, June 18, the City will be hosting a blood drive with Carter BloodCare. The drive will be held in the City Council Chambers at 107 E. Kaufman St. from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Remember, you receive a mini-physical each time you donate. You will be tested for low blood count & your blood type, you automatically become a part of the Carter BloodCare Life Plan which can help offset the cost of blood transfusions and you know you are a part of saving up to three lives in your community.
