Paris EMS is celebrating its thirty seventh year serving the citizens of Lamar County.
Sep 1, 1979, the City of Paris took over emergency medical calls from McCuistion Medical Center with one ambulance and six EMTs running almost 900 calls a year.
Today, Paris EMS has 21 full-time Paramedics with three 24/7 MICU ambulances plus 12 part-time EMT's, and averages almost 9000 calls per year!
