The City Council encourages all citizens to consider being involved in city government by serving on a board or commission. Below is a list of boards and commissions currently active in the city.

Applicants must:
- Be residents of the City of Paris, Texas, unless the authorizing ordinance or law creating a board or commission specifically states otherwise
- Be willing to attend the regularly scheduled meetings of the board or commission
- Be a registered voter with the same residency address submitted on the application
