Internet & Computer Resources

Equipment

The Paris Public Library currently has 11 computer workstations for public use. All of the workstations have Microsoft Office, along with the Internet.

Usage

To use one of our workstations, patrons must have a Paris Public Library card that is free of fines or overdues and sign a form stating that the patron has read our Computer Rules (PDF).

Out-of-county visitors who do not have a Paris Public Library card may use a computer by purchasing a Visitor Computer Use card for $5. This card allows the visitor five sessions on our workstations. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Computer Workstation Agreement form before the child is allowed to use one of our Internet workstations. Chat, and games are restricted on the computer workstations.

There is not a charge to use our workstations, although patrons must pay $0.25 per printed page (Black & White, $.50 Color) while printing from one of the workstations.
