What is the Public Information Act (PIA)?

The Texas Public Information Act provides that information in the possession of a governmental body is generally available to the public. Everyone has the fundamental right to know what his or her elected representatives and governmental bodies are doing.

How to File a Request

A request for Public Information can be submitted to the City of Paris in several ways. The request must include name, address, daytime telephone number of the requester, and the documents or items requested.

Forms may be downloaded here, printed and emailed to piarequest@paristexas.gov
Forms may also be obtained and returned to the City Clerk's Office at:
150 SE 1st Street
Paris, TX 75460

There will be a fee for furnishing the requested information.
