Program Details
Paris EMS Paramedics use our Fill The Boot program money to buy toys and grant wishes for over 40 Salvation Army Angels each year, as well as other charities such as Paris Pregnancy Center, Child Advocacy Center, Lamar County HeadStart and CASA for Kids. The money is collected each year before Christmas at our local Wal-Mart, Store 148, which also donates to the project, during December.
100% of the money collected is used to buy goods for the citizens in Lamar County. EMS also uses this program to buy heaters and blankets in the winter, and fans in the summer for the Meals On Wheels Seniors program.
